Swatch perfect-fit 17mm flexible wristband (watch strap)

Made at Fab Lab Aachen! When my friend Heike Krier got out an old Swatch, a present from her mom, its watch strap fell apart. Using a model by laird as a starting point, we used OpenSCAD and a Dremel3D20 printer with TPC FLEX 45 flexible filament to print her a new watch strap. The metal pins, transparent clasp and safety hold are still original, although the model contains a spare hold. This will fit Swatch watches with a 17mm wide watch strap (measured at the watch case, right beneath the pin tube), with two cutouts in the pin tube at the watch case. We spent a lot of time getting the shapes just right, to fit the watch perfectly just like the original strap. You can print the STL file directly, or open the OpenSCAD file and change the length of the tongue and buckle bands to your needs by just editing two numbers in the file. Changing width or thickness of the strap will require some manual fixes to the pin tubes, but should not be necessary for Swatch straps.
