Swatch / Mini test (YAST - yet another swatch test)
thingiverse
Looked for a swatch and small test that I didn't have to keep editing the model to match the material information. I didn't find one so I made one. I could have probably used one of the other ones, but I always want an excuse to use Fusion 360. This is an FDM printer filament swatch that also acts as a small test for functionality. More info in the image or below. This is designed to use a 1in. x 1in. / 26mm x 26mm label for information about filament name and printing settings. The dimensions of the swatch is modeled at 72mm x 34mm x 2mm with various areas with small functionality tests such as overhangs and layer height. Note: I did have to glue the label to my TPU, but you may have better luck. Test areas (locations tagged in the image). 1. 1in. x 1in. / 26mm x 26mm label location. 2. Small bridge testing area with 5mm, 7mm, 10mm, 12mm, and 15mm areas. 3. Areas for testing sharp edges and a 45-degree overhang at the long edge. 4. Flat area for solid surface or customization area. 5. Text embossed test and layer height labels. 6. Layer height from 1 thru 5 layers. 7. Small circle test at 1mm, 2mm, 3mm, and 4mm diameter. 8. Thin wall and emboss test at 0.4mm, 0.6mm, 0.8mm, and 1.0mm.
