This is a pair of earrings featuring a swan design. Measurements are: 23*30*4mm. Swans are classified with their closely related geese in the subfamily Anserinae where they form the tribe Cygnini. Occasionally, they are considered a distinct subfamily, Cygninae. There are six or seven living species of swan in the genus Cygnus; another species known as the coscoroba swan is also recognized, although this species is no longer classified as one of the true swans. Swans typically mate for life, but "divorce" can occur, often following nesting failure, and if a mate dies, the remaining swan will pair with another.
