Swab Shield

This disposable shield gives providers a safe way to swab patients while also guiding the swab and providing an ergonomic handle to keep swabbing consistent. Procedure: 1. Cut a 1/2-inch hole in a clear plastic sheet. 2. Print the tube using a 3D printer. 3. Place the plastic sheet on top of the tube. The tube is designed with a gentle slope, making it easy to insert into the patient's nose and the swab into the tube itself. If you have any ideas for improving this design, please let us know.
