Area 2 was designated to probe a small platform attached to the southeastern extremity of the primary site. Investigators discovered it to be a marked 'yard', approximately rectangular in shape, and situated open to the west with a partially filled and flagged-over grain dryer revealed through excavation. The model illustrates the dryer as it appeared post-exhumation.
