I designed this for my SVX, and it fits perfectly in the passenger side footwell. To attach it securely, I use the steel piece behind the plastic cover right above the carpet - if you do it correctly, it should fit flush and allow the plastic cover to sit over the screws. A wood screw is then run into the carpet without causing any damage, making it easy to undo later. There's a tab on the bottom for screwing through the carpet. Before doing any final drilling, I highly recommend testing the fit first. To give you an idea of how it looks installed, I covered the print with suede to match my dash - using a staple gun to keep it in place works decently, as long as you don't remove and reattach too many times. Unfortunately, the link for the insert I used is currently unavailable, but I'll try to find it. The cupholder was actually designed for a boat and features a light at the bottom - I tapped into the old wiring for my console light to turn that on.
