SVDE/SVD3D foldable print flat PWM box mod

SVDE/SVD3D foldable print flat PWM box mod

thingiverse

A compact print box mod that folds and glues together easily. Electronics installation occurs before assembly of the box, making it simple to add components. All sides have a smooth finish since they are printed on a flat surface. This design allows for printing without visible layer lines. Ideally, print this mod in PETG or ABS materials, but as long as the top is made from these materials, the body, door, and bottom can be printed with any material since they usually aren't exposed to heat (except when left in a car during summer). The holes are dimensioned for 10/12mm thread 510 (choose the correct top STL), 12mm thread fire button, potbelly style PWM, and a mini VM (0.28"). Use standard keystone battery contacts, available at modmaker or RS components. Recommended print settings: 1st layer: 0.32mm thickness, 0.2mm layers after that. Brim: 8mm. Supports: generated from the bed only (maybe remove supports underneath the logo on the reverse of the battery holder?). Speeds: 20mm/s for the first layer, 50-65mm/s for subsequent layers. For PETG, recommend a nozzle temperature of 245C and a bed temperature of 75C (glass or a mirror is ideal).
