SVDE/SVD3D foldable print flat PWM box mod
thingiverse
A print flat box mod that you fold and glue together. Easy to install electronics in as you can do it before assembly of box. All sides shiny and smooth as they are on bed. This makes it possible to print without externally visible layer lines. Ideally printed in PETG or ABS, but as long as the top is printed in these materials the body, door and bottom can be printed in any material as they will not usually be subjected to heat (unless left in a car in summer time) Holes dimensioned for 10/12mm thread 510 (choose correct top stl), 12mm thread fire button, potbelly style pwm and a mini vm (0.28") Use standard keystone battery contacts. (available in modmaker, RS components etc) My recommended print settings: 1st layer 0.32mm, 0.2mm layers after that 8mm brim support: from bed only (maybe remove the supports generated under the logo on the reverse of the battery holder?) speeds: 20mm/s first layer, 50-65mm/s subsequent layers for PETG I recommend 245C nozzle and 75C bed (and glass or a mirror ideally)
