SVD Gas Block - Front Sight

This is an SVD gas block and front post combo I designed. It's based off the SVD uploaded here by Ehsan (link to that model below) so as long as those dimensions are right, this is right and should be able to fit exactly where the gas block fits without modification to the rifle. Once I did this I shortened the barrel, leaving .600" past the post to be threaded for a brake of my own design . This put the barrel at 16.35" which in the US is legal without paperwork from the ATF. This was a happy coincidence for me.This is part of a project to make the SVD as short as possible to be some sort of "paratrooper" style rifle. This part would be wax/investment cast and them machine finished, just like it would be in Russia.SVD model here: SVD dragunovNo parts in this file are from the model listed above.
