SVALNÄS Wall Mounts
prusaprinters

I already had SVALNÄS shelves and wanted some more. But Ikea decided to discontinue them. So i only got the shelves, not the mounting pole.

I created these wallmounts in fusion360, printed them in DAS FILAMENT “Tonweiß”, sanded them a bit. And then mounted the shelves. I think the result is really great.

When Printing them, you should think about the infill, i experimented with infill blockers an increased infill in the lower halves. I think that was not really needed.

20% Infill and 3-4 perimeters should be fine. (but i take no responsibility, its your print)

Also maybe drill/sand the hole for the shelf, it is sometimes a really tight fit, and depending on the quality, it might break a layer. But as this is a legacy product, i didn't want to restart fusion.

Tip: if you have left over golden nuts from the shelves, just put them in the holes on the other side, it looks really good.
