This tiny piece of plastic, serving as a vital link between the door handle and the inner workings of the door mechanism, is infamous for shattering on the eye-side.\r\n\r\nThis is an exact duplicate replacement for the original part.\r\n\r\nTo take out the old part, you need to slide the hinge pin towards yourself, just like it's shown in the picture. The new part comes printed in two identical halves that don't require any glue to assemble. Both parts are placed together and slid into the slot on the handle side where they'll fit perfectly. When you push the hinge pin back in, it locks securely into place. On the eye-side, a plastic bushing keeps both parts tightly connected.
