I have a 1986 Suzuki Samurai JX that didn't have a radio or speakers. The speaker holes are odd sized and needed a special plate to seal properly. I designed an adapter plate to fit Pioneer TS 500-M 5.25" round speakers to existing mounting holes with original screws. You will install the plate first in the counter sunk holes and the speaker and speaker cover will overhang countersunk screws slightly. I used the original screws and mounts for plate to vehicle. I used the screws provided with the speakers to mount speakers with speaker cover. Hope this file will help other people.
