Suzuki Mini Indicator Adapter

I prefer to be visible while riding my motorcycles. On my touring bike, I add more lights on the front and extra brake lights on the back that flash briefly when activated. However, on my smaller sports bike, this is not easy. I discovered some 10mm mini indicators on eBay that were versatile. The front indicators function as daylight running lights when the yellow LED isn't flashing, while the rear ones can be tail or brake lights when the yellow LED isn't flashing. This seems like a good solution. Suzuki indicators have a distinctive shape where they meet the body of the bike, so an adaptor seemed like the perfect fix. Problem 1: These mini indicators have a significant design flaw - the 10mm hollow threaded rod is only attached to the indicator's body with a small amount of polyurethane glue. When you tighten the nut on the threaded rod, it pulls out of the indicator. I couldn't achieve sufficient tension on the nut without causing the indicator to come loose, which was disappointing. To solve this issue, I've added a 10mm jack nut (or half nut) that gets "loctite'd" to the threaded rod. Now, I can tighten the nut and the adaptor as much as needed without worrying about the indicator coming loose. Problem 2: My riding buddy pointed out that the indicators, especially the flashing yellow ones, are not very bright. To address this, I've added a small LED bulb from eBay for about a dollar each, and this issue is now resolved. There's also a model with an additional 3mm hole for its power cable.
