Suzuki Choke Lever

Choke Lever Replacement for Suzuki Bandit I had to replace the choke lever that broke on my 2002 Suzuki Bandit. After researching, I found that the new part should fit other carbureted Suzuki bikes as well. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: Ebay Prusa i3 kit Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.3 mm Infill: 25% I printed the choke lever at a layer height of 0.3 mm with two shells, but I had to adjust my settings because I was using an 0.8 mm nozzle. For a standard 0.4 mm nozzle, three shells and 0.2 mm layer height should give better results. Support is essential for this print. I printed the slide part against the bed to ensure a smooth finish, and the arch between the slide and thumb tab was supported as well. The fitment was almost perfect, but I had to clean out the groove for the cable. One part was binding, so I hit it with sandpaper to get it sliding smoothly. To design this choke lever, I placed the broken pieces on a flat bed scanner and imported them into Fusion 360 along with a credit card. I calibrated the picture using the credit card as a reference point, then traced a sketch over the image. Using my calipers, I began modeling the rest of the part.
