Suzuki and KTM Starter Solenoid Relay cover
thingiverse
The starter solenoid relay cover for older Suzukis and KTM's are made of insanely brittle plastic that just falls apart in your fingers. When broken, your main fuse is left exposed to the elements (no good!). What's even worse, Suzuki wants to charge you $12 for this cruddy piece of plastic. I took my broken one and designed a 3d print file so you can make copies right at home in less than 3 hours print time. Even better, I made the walls of the model 2-3x as thick in some areas so the plastic wouldn't break as easily when exposed to the elements. Use a heat resistant filament, print open side up, go 99% infill, and use tree supports to make sure the loop that goes over the weatherpack connector is supported. Important note: There are chinese knockoffs of the solenoid relay that come with clear plastic caps for the fuses. Make sure to take these caps off as they do not fit into this cover. This cover was designed for the OEM parts dimensions in mind. THIS PART REPLACES SUZUKI OEM P/N 31861-47E00 and 31861-21E20 MAKE SURE THE LONGEST AXIS OF THIS PIECE MEASURES 64mm IN YOUR SLICER SOFTWARE
