Learning Blender through https://cgcookie.com/ has allowed me to pick up skills like UVW unwrapping, 2D and 3D texturing in no time. Currently, I'm putting my knowledge to the test by creating a model in Blender that features a 2D texture for the very first time. So far, I'm really happy with how it's turning out.
