Sustainapack Concept 2
grabcad
Introducing my second design concept for the Sustainapack challenge. Both designs ensure switches stay securely in position, even during transport. For switches with brackets attached, they remain stable under abrupt movements or vibrations. Switches without brackets benefit from headroom above them and a protruding stopper stem that prevents them from moving out of place. Each tray can hold 25 switches, and eight trays create a 200-count package fitting into a square box. The tray dimensions are 550mm x 550mm x 76.5mm, weighing approximately 466g when empty and 1216g when loaded without brackets. With brackets, the weight increases to 1591g. This design also allows switches to be placed in three different orientations within the enclosure. Thanks to Tommy Mueller for the compact switch file! The challenge helper item is Sustainapack.
