Suspension LiPo Guard

Suspension LiPo Guard

thingiverse

This design is specifically tailored for printing with TPU filament to protect 1500 mAh 4s-6s LiPo batteries used in 200..300 mm racer quadcopters. It bears a striking resemblance to many other LiPo guards found on Thingiverse, but its primary focus lies in covering the exposed bottom and front battery surfaces from rocks. The guard features numerous cut-outs strategically placed throughout its structure. These were added with two main objectives in mind: weight reduction and allowing for flex between contact-surfaces and the guard-base during landing impacts. This design feature will significantly aid in maintaining a straight trajectory upon landing, reducing the likelihood of being tipped over. To experience this design's capabilities firsthand, please refer to the following video tutorials: https://youtu.be/Z4eiG0HoEzk This tutorial showcases a 20-degree angle fast start. For optimal results, ensure you follow these steps carefully: 1. Arm your drone and give it minor throttle. 2. Pitch forward slightly. 3. Put on your FPV goggles. 4. Hit full throttle while keeping an eye out for any obstacles in front of the drone.
