Survey Tripod to PVC Pipe Adaptor

UPDATE: I added some tolerance and filleting to the 5/8-11 threads, then printed it again. The result now threads perfectly onto my brass 5/8-11 GNSS adapter as shown in the pictures. I needed a way to attach a high-grade survey GPS receiver to a PVC cart I was building, so I designed this adapter myself. It's meant to fit snugly into the end of a standard 1 1/4" PVC pipe and provide a sturdy survey tripod screw for secure mounting of your GPS device. This design specifically accommodates an Emlid Reach RS receiver, utilizing a brass survey tripod adapter instead of the standard mount due to concerns about its strength when 3D printed. During the printing process, I found that the threads required some slight sanding to fit my 5/8" adapter properly - your results may vary. This project's primary purpose is to serve as a GPS mounting system for a custom cart built from PVC and a short section of pipe, but you could also use it to create a budget-friendly survey pole with moderate accuracy.
