Surround speaker stand for Ikea Poang chair

Surround speaker stand for Ikea Poang chair

I don't have space for my surround speakers, so I've created a holder for the rear speakers that attaches to the Ikea Poäng chair. The chair's curved backside requires two versions of the stand: left and right. You should print one of each version. If you tend to rock or move around a lot in your chair, I recommend printing the clips as well. They will ensure that the stand stays securely attached over time - something that happened to me twice already. Due to the numerous types of speakers available, there are no pre-drilled holes or mounting points. Use a drill to mark appropriate locations for your speaker and secure it with a small screw. Alternatively, you can use Velcro or double-sided tape if you're feeling lazy. If all else fails, you can drive a small wood screw through the bottom side of the holder without pre-drilling any holes.
