Surround speaker
cults3d
This is the realization of a small cabinet, intended to accommodate a 100mm diameter loudspeaker (here, a RCX-100 auditor focal for car radio). I did it at the beginning because I needed custom surround speakers (I couldn't find anything nice AND affordable in the shops). For the realization, you have TWO OPTIONS: OPTION 1: leave the speaker visible OPTION 2: Stick an acoustic cloth (or an old piece of T-Shirt!) on the "frame" part. NB: the loudspeaker is screwed into the cabinet at 4 points If you wish to use the frame: the fabric is glued to the frame with neoprene glue. Be careful to pull hard on the corners when gluing so that there are no visible folds on the outside. Cut off the excess fabric after gluing. If the frame is made, it is glued with neoprene glue (applied to the fabric previously glued to the frame) directly on the box. Be careful not to overflow.
