Surround Sound Speaker Mount
thingiverse
This wall mount is specifically designed for small surround sound speakers measuring approximately 3" x 4" x 5" in size and weighing very little. The mount allows for the speaker's angle to be precisely adjusted vertically and horizontally, giving you complete control over its direction. I engineered this mount to work seamlessly with #8 hardware. The hole intended for the speaker can accommodate a screw as large as #10 in size. You'll need a long socket to access the nut securing the adjustable link between the mounts, which requires a #8-32 x 3/4" long machine bolt, a narrow washer, a lock washer, and a nut. When mounting it to the wall, use a #8 wood or metal screw, ensuring they are long enough and strategically located to securely anchor into a stud - don't rely on wall anchors, as they can be unreliable. Also note that I may have included machine screws for the wall in the design, but it's best not to use them; instead, opt for the recommended hardware, which was simply what I had available at the time. Mount your speaker securely onto the Speaker mount bracket first, then attach the Wall mount bracket directly to the wall. Connect the two using the #8 hardware mentioned earlier, adjust the speaker's angle as needed, and finally tighten it - but be cautious not to over-tighten, as this is simply a 3D printed item after all...
