The Surround Box Satelite NANO SAT MK 2 from Visaton is a miniature sound wonder that has been updated. This version does not have a rear tweeter and the grille has been adjusted accordingly, resulting in improved natural sound reproduction. The NANO now also behaves more calmly when changing positions, especially the distance from the wall. It can be easily placed, for example, in a narrow bookshelf. When combining the NANO SAT MK II with the NANO SUB, you get a compact and room-friendly system made up of tiny satellites and a small subwoofer that sounds almost like a larger speaker box without compromise. The openings are then cut or drilled. A piece of wood for the intermediate frame is also cut out inside. Then, both cabinet parts can be glued to the frame. The 15 x 15 mm large pieces for the corners are divided diagonally and glued as well. The grid that fits over these corners (front and back each two) must be placed over them later. The short bass reflex tubes are cut from aluminium tubes (available at hardware stores) and glued into the pre-drilled holes with silicone or hot glue. Since the cabinets are so small, the speaker plates cannot be screwed in. They are simply wrapped in damping material and stuffed into the cabinet. Damping For each satellite, two small pieces (about 5 x 5 cm) of the subwoofer's damping material are cut off and one piece is stuffed into the upper and lower chambers respectively. A further finger-sized piece is inserted into the bass reflex tube and fixed with a little bit of glue.
