Surron Extended Seat, Tall Battery Cover
thingiverse
This part is for a very particular use case! If you have: 1. The [seat extender](https://lunacycle.com/luna-lift-kit-surron-seat-extenders/) from Luna Cycle, and 2. A taller battery, like one from [LiteSpeedBike](https://litespeedbikes.mybigcommerce.com/60v40ah-63v36ah-high-amps-surron-segway-battery/) You'll end up with a gap between your battery cover and your seat (see included image). This 3D print makes for a nice battery cover extension that covers that gap, but also moves the battery latch down about 20mm to make up for the taller battery. It doesn't quite touch the top of the battery, and due to the variety that the top shape has in some of these third party batteries, it would be tough to make one that fit them all perfectly. In my case I hotglued a piece of dense foam to the underside of the cover that squishes down on the battery just a bit to keep it from bouncing around on the trail. You could use this with the stock battery and the seat extender, but you'll have a significant gap between the top of the battery and the top of the door, which will allow the battery to move up and down if you're riding offroad. You could easily cram some more foam to make sure the battery stays in place.
