SURPRISE BOX
myminifactory
Finally, my project "Surprise Box" is complete! It has several layers, with the lower one concealing Arduino and battery components. A hold at the box's bottom allows a LED light to shine through, creating a heart-shaped glow. When people approach or open the box, the PIR sensor triggers the light-up effect. A hexagonal fence inside the box is designed for planting, originally intended for moss as a background. However, I substituted dry pine tree leaves due to an unavailability of suitable moss. My "Surprise Box" conveys several messages. Firstly, it brings joy and surprise to recipients, reflecting my positive attitude towards life. Secondly, it embodies my environmental concerns. During my volunteering trip this semester, I witnessed people's ignorance about the environment's fragility. The plant aspect of the project highlights my conviction that plants possess feelings similar to humans. When trees are cut down, they suffer pain. The flowers on the heart and butterfly symbolize nature's beauty and purity. Nature provides breathtaking scenery for all living beings, and we must treasure and protect it. I utilized SLS printing technology to create "Surprise Box". PA2200 powder, a water-resistant Nylon material, was used for this purpose.
