I design a printer with a 5.5-inch maximum dimension, requiring a cost-effective and efficient way to print parts that can expand from approximately 5.5 inches to 10 inches in size while keeping the elastics away from the ear. As my wife is a nurse who will test these prototypes with her team, I aim to make revisions on the fly to achieve optimal results. I appreciate the innovative spirit of those who have inspired this project's hook design. My goal is to create a simple, affordable, and sturdy piece that can be worn for an extended period without compromising comfort or durability, allowing users to discard it when necessary.
