<p>While surgical masks are meant for single-use only, due to shortages, we are forced to use them indefinitely. The outside of the mask after entering a patient room or being out and about in public is considered "dirty". To remove the mask with minimal risk of contamination, only the ear-loops should be touched. Further, placing the mask dirty-side down on any surface potentially contaminates that surface.</p> <p>This mask remover/holder allows you to don/doff the mask while only touching the ear loops, and to have it sit without touching countertops.</p> <p>Demo video: <a href="https://youtu.be/d0dGyWg7hzM">https://youtu.be/d0dGyWg7hzM</a></p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>The part is fairly simple and can print without supports just fine. I used 5% infill and it is sturdy enough not to bend when being utilized. Make sure the flat side is down when preparing in your slicer.</p>
