Surgical Mask Ear Saver
thingiverse
Another game changer for the 3D printing community. I'm aware that many individuals are creating their own ear savers, but this particular design stands out due to its efficiency. With a build plate size of 220x220mm, you can produce 11 ear savers at once, and print them in just 110 minutes. This is a significant advantage over other designs that require more time-consuming printing processes. However, it's essential to note that this design does have one major drawback: you'll need to be present at the printer every 110 minutes to collect your prints. This can be a challenge for those with busy schedules or limited access to their printers. In my experience, stacking these ear savers has proven to be quite tricky. I've found it difficult to separate them without damaging the parts. Perhaps others have had more success with this aspect of the design? I'm printing mine on an Ender 5 with a .2 layer height, 1.8mm wall thickness, and 100% infill. So far, the results have been promising, but I'd love to hear from others who have experimented with this design.
