Creating a functional surfboard wall hook from scratch was the goal. The design aimed to showcase boards in the kitchen while providing a solid, two-part construction. The first part is a removable wall mount with an optional 20mm metal washer for added stability. The second part, the surf mount, can be secured using a standard screw, accommodating both future and longboard mounts. There are three different hooks available, depending on the size of your surfboard. I used hook2 for my 6.2-foot board and hook3 for my longer 6.8-foot board. It's essential to choose the correct hook size based on your surfboard's dimensions to maintain a secure position on the wall. A smaller (short) or wider (longboard) hook will be necessary, depending on the surfboard. The printing process involved using harder XT PLA and a 20% fill rate with three layers. Support material was required for the wall hook and longboard3 hook, but not for the hook1 and hook2 designs.
