SurfaceWrite

This is just a first sample of what I think I will call "SurfaceWrite"! I say this because this method allows you to add your own customized text to (at least, in theory) almost any object. Although I have not tried it yet, you should be able to add other items/objects to the surface as well! The interesting part is that when it comes down to it, this is just a relatively simple formula that can be used to calculate a surface area for (almost) any object. I say "almost" because I had problems with several models I tried to use. My software informed me that all of them were not "watertight." I was able to fix one of them, the "knob", using www.makeprintable.com, after which the process ran okay. A major advantage of this approach is that it allows you to use any font file/style that is listed under the OpenSCAD "Help" menu - "Font List" option. I am still working on the "include"/"example" SCAD files. But I just wanted to see what everyone thought!
