Surface RT Wall Mount Frame

This frame provides a wall-mounting solution for a Surface RT tablet, designed to be used as a touchscreen interface for home automation systems based on SmartThings technology. The matte black color of the tablet did not mesh well with the surrounding white walls, so this frame enhances the overall aesthetic appeal of the project by adding a polished finish. The design incorporates cutouts for easy access to the Windows button, power button, and space for the power cord. Note that the frame is slightly wider on one side to accommodate the standard magnetic power cord, which is routed through the top (see accompanying images). Software-wise, I am utilizing the Kiosk Browser to display a web service called ActionTiles (https://www.actiontiles.com/), which is configured to integrate seamlessly with my SmartThings system.
