A stylus holder is designed for attachment to the side of Surface devices using a piece of double-sided mounting tape. Specifically created for the Surface 3, it's also compatible with the Pro models. The retaining nub is pronounced and offers excellent retention as is, but if you prefer the pen to "pop-out" easier with one hand, just slightly sand/file the nub's tip. If this saves you from losing your Surface Pen, please consider tipping the designer! Print Settings Rafts: Yes Supports: No Notes: I recommend printing on the end of the cylinder furthest from the nub, utilizing a raft. Excellent results are achieved by printing it in this "tall" orientation. Post-Printing 3M VHB Requires a double-sided adhesive mounting tape to adhere to surface. I recommend 3M VHB options as many remove cleanly. How I Designed This This was designed in Solidworks on a Surface 3. Not the Pro model, either!
