Minor fix to the inclination of the bayonet slots.</i> This is a surface-mounting box for the YPHIX LED downlight panel Ø24cm (article number 50413015), which is available in the Netherlands at ledlampendirect.nl - click here for direct access to the product. Originally designed for wall or ceiling integration, this box allows you to securely mount the downlight on the wall or ceiling using bayonet locks. It also makes removal easy by simply twisting the light fixture. The base plate features screw holes and includes optional ventilation slits in the side. A set of 4 adapter rings is included, which can be screwed onto the back plate of the downlight to fit the bayonet locks. Refer to the printing instructions for more information on using the adapter rings. In my experience, neither the power converter nor the LED's produce excessive heat, so printing in PLA is sufficient, and slits are not strictly necessary. However, I recommend printing the adapter rings in ABS or a high-heat-tolerant material as the metal frame of the downlight may become warm after extended operation.
