Surface Book Power Cord Strain Relief

The original text requires an enormous scale of 2540% to achieve proper printing size. Microsoft has finally earned its place in my book as a company that makes questionable design choices. The laptop adapter cord is not removable from the power brick, and yet it lacks a critical feature - strain relief. Mine reached a point where it became a fire hazard (See Pic). So, I was forced to purchase a new one for a whopping $110. This strain relief should help extend the lifespan of the adapter. To avoid creating a new failure point in the wire, do not glue it on the cable side - it is quite stiff and would likely cause more harm than good. I used a small amount of hot glue to secure it to the plastic cylinder casing instead.
