The Surface book 3 in studio mode (where the screen is turned around from the base of the device) is known to overheat as the back of the screen is where the CPU is, and suffers from lack of airflow... this simple spacer (made to replace a cardboard box i used for a few days to verify it helps) sits between the screen and the base and allows airflow so that the device doesn't overheat as much. In my experience, without this, my device usually hits 100C with photoshop, but now maxes out at 95-97C. slight, but worthwhile improvement.
