The Surface Book/Pro line of laptops from Microsoft is truly exceptional, but one major drawback becomes apparent when you carry it in a bag: the power button's placement on the outer edge of the device is an absolute nuisance! By the time you arrive, your laptop is scorching hot and its battery life has been severely depleted. Determined to find a more durable design, I sought out ruggedized solutions that would shield the power button from accidental presses. Unfortunately, every other design on Thingiverse seemed overly complicated and finicky. In response, I created a simpler, albeit less polished version that meets my requirements. For now, I've employed a layer of double-sided tape to attach it to the device for testing purposes; however, I plan to switch to epoxy or glue at a later stage to achieve a neater finish.
