SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder Replacement Bowls
thingiverse
Replacement bowls for a SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder These bowls can be quite costly, even when purchased through online marketplaces like eBay, so I decided to design and print my own at a significantly lower price. I modified the split design by creating compartments of different sizes, allowing the feeder to easily accommodate an entire pâté in the larger section while using the smaller one for dry food. The bowls are printed with PETG, which can be washed and effectively pasteurized on a dishwasher cycle. I use a 65°C cycle, resulting in a Pasteurization Unit (PU) of over 315 – more than enough to eliminate non-thermophilic pathogenic organisms. The PETG bowls also maintain their shape without deformation. You can further protect the eating surfaces by applying a clear lacquer if desired. The absence of a silicone lip on the rim doesn't seem to affect the keeping quality or state of the soft food, although with the energetic dogs I have at home, it's not like they leave the food in the bowl for long! In addition to the .STL files provided, I've also attached the .STP files so you can modify the designs using your preferred design software. The .FFF file containing my printer settings is also included for reference.
