This is an aftermarket rear mudguard alternative to the original EU homologated version of the Sur-ron dirt e-bike. It incorporates the original rear and turn lamps mounted on a longer, extended rear fender. These fender components are compatible with the Honda CRF50 XR50 longer rear fender, which is most similar in design to the Sur-ron stock fender. The long mudguard CRF50 measures 36 cm in length, providing sufficient clearance for the wheel under pressure spring without touching the vehicle's license plate. A shorter version of the CRF50 mudguard is also available; however, it is not recommended as the spring-loaded wheel will touch the license plate and potentially damage its bracket. The printed parts of the mudguard are connected by an aluminum square profile 10x10x1mm with a length of 270mm. You attach these components to the printed parts using 4mm screws and drill holes in well-positioned areas. Warning: Do not use PLA filament as it can deform under hot weather conditions! Instead, utilize high-temperature stable filaments like PETG for optimal results. Last modification for the strongest holder part: The previous version of this part, which was printed as a single block, was insufficiently strong due to printing limitations and bonding between layers. This resulted in the part breaking after some time under stress. Modified part 2 consists of two separate parts (fender_long_part2.1_v2.stl + fender_long_part2.2_v2.stl), which must be sealed with glue for plastic to achieve a very strong connection.
