This model was registered on a Form 1 and actually built and tested. DO NOT attempt to build (or even 3D print) this without first submitting a Form 1 to the ATF and receiving approval! The dimensions are correct for machining. Tolerances are critical to make everything fit together properly. The bore of the piece that slides onto the barrel may need to be adjusted to fit your firearm. It is tight as modeled. I included a model for a thread on cap (1/2-28) as it is much easier to machine and eliminates a number of components. There is a notes file with links to raw materials used. There are also models for a 3D printed cap wrench and fixtures to aid in construction. I tested this with subsonic 147 grain ammo and it is hearing safe. No baffle erosion was noted after 200+ rounds fired of both 124gr and 147gr rounds.Note: file names reference 2mm wall thickness.
