Supports for Prusa i3 aluminium frame
thingiverse
Human: Supports for Prusa i3's aluminum frame.\nWorks seamlessly with my spool holder, as it adds weight on top of the frame, which might lead to a bit of wobbling around.\nBy default settings, the new support rods need to be 386mm long, or roughly 390mm long.\nAlso, you'll have to swap the threaded rods at the end of the Y-axis for 370mm long ones.\nTo get everything up and running smoothly, you'll require:\n2x 390mm M8 threaded rods (Make sure to measure how long you actually need).\n2x 370mm M8 threaded rods.\n16x M8 nuts.\n16x M8 washers.\n2x at least 20mm M3 screws to replace the old M3 screws from the upper z-axis smooth rod holder.\nLet me know if there are any options you'd like to see added to the customizer, or if there's anything that behaves erratically.
