Physics Dude's Design Comes Alive: A Student's Hands-On Approach A student took on the challenge of bringing Physics Dude's plated version into reality, using TinkerCAD as their canvas for creation. By employing Meshmixer's capabilities, they efficiently split the parts and skillfully assembled them into a single cohesive piece. To further refine the design, the resulting part was re-imported into Meshmixer, where supports were added and adjusted to meet the size restrictions suitable for kids' prints. After two initial setbacks, a critical flaw was uncovered – a crucial foot was not making contact. Undeterred, the student utilized Meshmixer's functionality to subtly expand the feet, followed by a precise application of the Plane tool to slice them flat. This innovative solution allowed for seamless printing, a testament to the student's determination and resourcefulness.
