The system provided with the Gimball was not suitable for my snowboarding use due to its overhang and small diameter. I wanted more support and something easier to implement, but the lug on the V1 cracked at the separation of the support - WG2. For the V2, I made a short mobile lug initially to prevent clipping on the harness, but it wasn't sufficient. So, I created a long threaded lug that only allows assembly without allowing unscrewing once in place. If I'm going to put a screw, I'd rather use one with the correct diameter and not Kodak.
