Support Test Example

Support Test Example

thingiverse

Dead simple printing test example created in under ten minutes. Designed primarily to test how slicers handle obvious support overhangs, but may serve as a useful actual printing test piece. Viewing from the top-down will display any support patterns for easy screenshots etc. Customizer enabled for this one. If both "Rotate" and "Remove_Bottom_On_Rotate" are set to true, one side disappears to make it clear there's an overhang. Width STL has rotate set to false, Height STL has rotate set to true with "Remove_Bottom_On_Rotate" set to false, Height with Bottom STL has rotate and "Remove_Bottom_On_Rotate" both set to true, for reference (experiment with it, you'll see what I mean). You could cheat and flip the model upside down and get a usable print with no supports, but... where's the fun in that? ### Changelog **2018-09-07** - Initial Upload
