SUPPORT SUCH, CREMAILLERE SUPPORT SUCH

Good morning! I'm excited to share a rather specific project that I think will be quite useful. The chances of having such a tool are pretty slim, but I decided to post it anyway - you never know when someone might need it. If you have the same model as me, you'll likely find that this part has failed. It's a support for rugged or hardened models weighing over 200g... no surprise there! In my work, I've got a similar model on an equivalent build site, and let's just say its weight is comparable to that of a brick. Eventually, the sole - specifically the suction cup rack - gave out. Makes sense. Too bad for this practical support - it really annoyed me when it broke. After measuring it carefully, I decided to recreate the part from scratch. It was a bit tricky for me, but good luck prevailed! After some time and effort, the result is quite similar to the original (the black piece in the picture where you can see that it has no octagonal base). Now, let's hop to the printer! Due to its unusual dimensions, printing was a bit of a challenge, but it worked out. I think it'll take 2-3 adjustments to get it right. As for rendering, the piece turned out rather ugly - maybe because it's too small or has too many details... who knows? In any case, it works! The supports were tough to remove, probably due to their tiny size or poor contact settings with the model. Here comes the fun part: give me a bit of patience and some scratches, and this support will get a second life!)
