Support linear bearings of the plate CTC I3 Pro B (Prusa clone)
thingiverse
After the initial projects I realized that my printer was not as precise as I had envisioned so I prepared a series of updates to enhance its performance. The first step was to place it on a 10mm plywood board and utilize this for the necessary anchors. Subsequently, I designed and printed several components (which are showcased separately in each publication). In this particular release: 4 - Support for linear bearings of the plate. The original attachment system for the linear bearings to the printing plate not only looked unappealing but also failed to maintain perfect alignment between the bearings of the same axis. With this upgrade, I mounted the bearings on a single piece. Additionally, I relocated the front bearing without creating new holes on the support plate, thereby achieving a greater travel distance for the Y-axis, which now reaches 209mm, enabling me to utilize nearly the entire surface of the printing plate.
