Support-less Cube Stress Test

Support-less Cube Stress Test

thingiverse

Don't mistake "support-free" for lacking support; rather, it implies that support structures are intentionally absent. The object has been successfully printed using a cupcake-sized 3D printer with a gearmotor extruder. To clean off residual support material, pre-treat the print with acetone; if not, the layers may become too delicate to handle. Newer machines might offer better results. For optimal stability, employ a raft during printing and disable heating once the initial few layers are in place. This intricate design is top-heavy, so it won't stand upright on its own. To prevent wobbling that could disrupt the upper portion of the print, ensure that your build platform is heated but remains firm after the first layers have set.
