Support Hong Kong ( 香港加油 )
thingiverse
I designed this 3D printed wristband as a show of support for current Hong Kong protests sparked by the anti-extradition bill (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_Hong_Kong_anti-extradition_bill_protests). Special thanks to the talented letter designer from Taiwan who granted me permission (https://www.facebook.com/TheLovelyWorld/). Here's what each letter on the wristband means: The Chinese characters for "Hong Kong" are visible when read vertically. When read horizontally, they spell out "Keep it up" in Chinese - a message of encouragement to those fighting for their rights. To make this wristband, follow these steps: 1. Print the STL file using 20% infill and light-colored filament (yellow or white) with a 0.2mm diameter. 2. Use a black oil-based pen to color in the letters. 3. Soak the wristband in boiling water (over 70 degrees Celsius) until it's soft and pliable. 4. Slip the wristband onto your arm, securing it with a rubber band.
