Fixing a GoPro camera or other action cam to the front of a KTM 1190 Adventure is quite possible on various models with an M5 screw similar in size. All you need is a longer bolt, about 30-35 mm more than the original one, and tighten it firmly using some threadlocker (a small amount will do). This setup has proven to be effective during four hours of off-road riding, resulting in minimal image vibrations compared to other attachment methods on the fork or crash bars.
