Support for Spring Tension Shower Rod

Support for Spring Tension Shower Rod

thingiverse

This is a support for a spring tension shower rod that tends to fall down if you hang things on it. To prevent this from happening, I created a small wedge-shaped support with two contact points to distribute the forces evenly. As a result, the print dimensions don't have to be precise, making it easier to use. The support is 4 cm wide, allowing for the attachment of two strips of 19 mm wide double-sided tape to secure it firmly to the wall. Print Settings: Printer: Qidi Tech 1 Rafts: None required Supports: Not needed Resolution: .10mm precision Infill: 30% density Notes: Printed in ABS at 230°C, heat bed temperature set to 110°C How I Designed This: I employed a straightforward yet effective design using Microsoft 3D Builder.
