Support for Salice Hinges
thingiverse
This support is specifically designed for Salice kitchen cabinet hinges that are prone to stripping screw holes due to unsupported rear ends, which slowly rock loose over time. The original hinges' design may be flawed or the wrong type was used for our cabinets, but this solution will resolve the issue. The intended use of this support is to slide around the back of the hinge and secure into the cabinet; its wings are strategically offset to prevent screws from colliding on opposing cabinets. The Fusion 360 files included contain a "favorited" parameter (set at 9.10mm, labeled as "d4") that may need adjustment depending on the distance between your hinges and the cabinet. An STL file is also provided for demonstration purposes, but it's unlikely to be useful without customization. These supports are designed to accommodate #6 wood screws with an 82° countersink, using a length that suits your specific installation needs.
