To ensure a level hot bed plate, I utilize Repetier Host software. A switch connected to a battery and LED is positioned at the end of a support. By moving the Z axis with Repetier Host until the LED illuminates, I note the corresponding Z level (e.g., 0.3 mm). Repeating this process for each corner of the plate, I adjust it for uniformity in measurements (0.3 mm).
